PERU!

This trip is for women seeking a once in a lifetime adventure! Witnessing Peru and it's landscape is one of the best things I have ever done. Macchu Piccu lives up to the hype and is even better than you can imagine in person! The small villages in the Andes mountains will teach you so many life lessons, trekking through them is one of my best memories of Peru. Sacred Valley is absolutely stunning, it's energy is healing in so many ways. Peruvian people are kind and humble, you will absolutely adore them. Peru has such rich culture as well, so this trip will tick so many boxes for those of you that choose to adventure with us!

**There will be trekking on this trip, so make sure you are up for adventure and pushing your mind and body. The high elevation is the trickiest part, but you will be so proud of yourself once you do it! It is truly incredible and makes you feel so ALIVE!

ITINERARY:

DAY 1: Arrival & Welcome Dinner (included).

DAY 2: Exploring the Valley of the Incas.

The exploration of the Sacred Valley will start from your hotel at 7am, to set off on a short drive to take us to the first stop: the Inca fortress of Saqsayhuaman. We’ll explore the entire complex in about 45 minutes with our guide giving you lots of details about the rich history of our Inca ancestors.  We’ll then visit the Famous place of Inca Templo (Qenqo), then well exploring the water templo (Tambomachay). We’ll then visit lovely llama farm where you will learn the difference between the South American camelids: llamas, alpacas, guanacos and vicuñas. Lunch will be close to the Inca ruins of Pisaq. After this we’ll move on to the ruins of Pisaq where we’ll visit the ceremonial and cemetery areas, and enjoy the breathtaking views of Pisac and the surrounding valley from above. The Sacred Valley tour will end at the hotel in the city of Urubamba at around 5 pm.

DAY 3: Exploring Maras and Moray/ Chinchero.

After breakfast at your hotel, your guide will meet you to embark on a fascinating tour to two of the area’s most unique sites: Maras and Moray.

First you will visit Moray, believed to have been an agricultural research center for the Inca Empire. You will see circular stone terraces that spiral down into the ground. Layer after layer, you will descend until you reach the deepest terrace at the bottom.

At Maras, you will see the salt flats, an astounding spectacle of numerous white pools of drying salt. These were used by the Incas to extract natural salt from the mountain stream and they continue to be used by the Maras community today.

Another attraction of this tour is the stunning landscape that surrounds these sites. The mountain views and agricultural fields, as well as the traditional Andean villages nearby will make this visit unforgettable. We will stop for lunch in Chinchero.

DAY 4 & 5: Hiking and camping on the Inca Trail!

This is where the adventure really begins! 2 nights hiking on the famous Inca Trail. You will see tiny mountain villages and here their incredible stories as they live like it's 200 years ago. Such a beautiful thing to witness! Your porters will all be women since this is an all women trip! It's so amazing to watch them get up these mountains with hugs packs on their backs like it's no big deal. Truly inspiring. You will be camping at high elevation, it's hard, but the best adventure!

You will spend a day in Chillipawa which will absolutely be the best part of the trip!!

They will share with us their passion for culture and history in this Native village, interactive experience that will immerse you in a journey from the past of an Inca culture to the world of present day Inca descendants at Chillipawa Village. Witness daily life and celebrate the colorful culture of the modern Native people as it unfolds right before your eyes. Listen to the sounds of their language, learn about traditional home remedies, savor a traditional Andean meal, make new friends and see the world through the eyes.

DAY 6: FREE DAY- recover from your hike and just relax today!

DAY 7: Explore Machu Picchu!!

Machu Picchu truly lives up to it's hype and then some. It's so incredible to witness. I remember sitting there things that over 1,000 people lived in this secret mountain village and thrived. The story is so incredible and it's so amazing to hear it being in the exact spot of where it happened. Way different than just reading it in a history book. Again, the magic and education of travel will never get old!
