Guatemala will quickly steal your heart. The people are so kind and incredible. The culture is beautiful, and Lake Atitlan has incredible healing energy which is WHY I cannot wait to adventure with you here!

This trip will be the perfect balance of relaxation, meditation & journaling, and adventure! If you love being in nature & love exploring and being immersed in other cultures, this is the trip for you! Guatemala is literally one of the most underrated countries I have EVER been to! Prepare to fall in love!

ITINERARY:

JAN 22: Transport from Guatemala city to Antigua (check into our gorgeous historic home), welcome dinner.

JAN 23: Explore Antigua with a local guide. After noon private hike to Playa Volcano (easy to moderate). Guatemala is famous for their active volcanos.

JAN 24: Transfer to Lake Atitlan- One of the most beautiful lakes I have ever witnessed. This is a volcanic lake and it's absolutely stunning with gorgeous small villages lining the coast.

JAN 25: This will be a lake day. Exploring the nearby village for lunch. We will be focusing on meditation and journaling in the morning and then relaxing most of the day.

JAN 26: Private boat ride to explore San Juan La Laguna- a little Mayan village where the local women have rescued the ancient techniques to dye their cotton in order to create beautiful and original handmade textiles. We will also explore Santiago Atitlan if time allows.

*Mountain biking can be arranged for those that would rather adventure outside instead of visit the local villages.

JAN 27: Explore the ancient market of CHICHICASTENANGO where textiles, fruit, veggies, and animals are plentiful. Evening portrait sessions will take place at the Villa we are staying at- so bring something beautiful to be photographed in (this is optional but included in the price).

JAN 28: Mayan ceremony + explore ancient ruins on your way back to Antigua where you will stay for one last night before departure.
