Istria is Croatia's wine country! If you are looking for a relaxing reset, this will be your trip! We will go wine tasting, explore, kayak, sail, and just relax next to our private pool... It will be a mix of Istria and sailing, so it will be a great mix! 

Continental Croatia meets the Adriatic in Istria (Istra to Croats), the heart-shaped, 3600-sq-km peninsula in the country's northwest. The bucolic interior of rolling hills and fertile plains attracts food- and culture-focused visitors to Istria’s hilltop villages, rural hotels and farmhouse restaurants, while the indented coastline is enormously popular with the sun-and-sea set. Though vast hotel complexes line much of the coast and the rocky beaches are not Croatia’s best, facilities are wide-ranging, the sea is clean and secluded spots are still plentiful.

Sept 1: Arrival. You can arrive at any time. The tour company will pick you up at the airport and bring you to our home in Istria. Welcome dinner (included). 

Sept 2: Gasto wine day with sightseeing (Hum, Motovun, Buzet, Grožnjan). 

Sept 3: Seakayaking while visiting Rovinj, Pula, and Poreč. 

Sept 4: FREE DAY

Sept 5: Transfer to Skradin, sailing to Prvić

Sept 6: Sailing to Kornati NP

Sept 7: Sailing around Šibenik archipelago 

Sept 8th: Departure

***ARRIVAL AIRPORTS (either is fine): Pula or Rijeka

***DEPARTURE AIRPORTS (either is fine): Split or Zadar

INCLUSIONS: Welcome dinner, transfers to and from the airport, accommodations, leather journal, breakfast everyday, all activities listed above, english speaking tour guide, photos of the group after the trip.

EXCLUSIONS: Flight, lunch and dinner (except welcome dinner), tips (optional) for tour guides. Personal photo session with Angie- you will be able to set up a session with her at a later date, so look for that email!

FULL PRICE is $3,250. You will pay $1,250 now as your deposit and the remaining $2000 will be due 6 weeks before departure.

Angie Monson will be your host. She is the owner and operator of Dérive Retreats. She is incredibly passionate about helping women see their light, make time for themselves, and realize they aren't stuck in their lives. She will lead meditations and journaling on most mornings with the hope that each attendee can see that this habit every morning can truly change your life.
